Important informations about Land accounts
What are the Khioot, Khatuni, Measles Number and other reforms in land accounts? Find out in this post.
1- Position:
It is a large unit that is usually made up of one large village or more than one small village. Mouza is named after the village or area.
2- Khiyot number:
When it becomes a moza, it includes the land of many people and families. To make its distribution easier, khiyot numbers are given. For example, one hundred acres is given to a family. This is the Khiyot number of Mouza which is in the possession of these shareholders of such and such family. Or the land of different families or people is mixed to make a khiyot. The number may change when someone sells the land or if there is a change.
3- Khatuni number:
Now there are many owners in Khiyut. Some have five acres, some have ten and some have two acres, so how will they know how much land belongs to which servant in Khiyut? If so, each participant is assigned a khatuni number. For example, Khiyot No. 1 has ten acres of land and two owners of five acres, then they will be given a separate number of five acres which is called Khatuni number. This number also changes when someone sells their share to someone or something else.
4- Measles number:
Now the five acres in a khatuni (which we took as an example, five acres, whatever their number may actually be) are given a special number for each acre which is called the measles number. This number never changes even if someone sells, but the field measles number will remain the same. And it also has the measurement written on all four sides of the field, what is the length, width, etc. of the field of this measles number.
5- Equivalent: (Tree)
It is a map of the location, where is the field, where is the road, where is everything. Patwari has this map made on a cloth which is also called latha.
6- Collection:
It lists the number of owners of a measles, a measles, a measles, and a measles. It also states who is the owner and who is cultivating the land on contract or how. The person of the land is also issued on the basis of the details of the same register.
7- Roundabout:
The Patwari also records the details of what is cultivated or what has been cultivated in the area you own or is a farmer.
Important Note: When buying land, always buy land on the basis of measles number. For example, suppose a servant owns two acres. You want to buy an acre from him and the one you like has measles number 50 but he gets it not from the measles number 50 but from the whole area in which he gets an acre in your name. Now legally you will become the owner of half an acre in both Measles No. 50 and Measles No. 100 and if Measles No. 50 is given to you by an individual then the whole acre will be given to you on that basis. Of course he is giving you the measles number 50 of your choice for cultivation but in future your children may have a quarrel that you or his children are talking about half an acre of you here go here ours there Yes, we will go there and so on. This was an example of two acres. It often happens that if you buy land from the owner of more than one acre, then later he says that I did not give this acre but someone else, so cultivate it even if it is barren. So be content before you buy land
